My yoga journey, and why I teach now

More than ten years as a product designer in startups, five of those running my own. The highs were as high as people say. The lows were lower. Burnt out, anxious most of the time, living almost entirely in my head.

I went looking for something that would help, and yoga was the one that worked. I felt relief almost straight away, which I hadn’t expected at all.

So I kept going. Mostly online at home, gradually working my way around the studios nearby. Yoga became the practice that kept me steady when the work wasn’t.

The startup is closed now. I’m still designing, still practising, and I’ve just finished a 200-hour teacher training with Breathe and Flow. So I finally have something to offer people who want what I went looking for.
